"Had a lovely stay at the apartment. Very large, light and airy apartment in a lovely old building. Wonderful view over the river through the big windows watching the ferry’s go by. If you want to feel like a local this is perfect. Caroline was very helpful and left lots of nice supplies to get us started. The apartment has lots of the hosts personality and is a great location not far from Le Marais, but is in a quiet area. There is city noise with the windows open which we liked as we are in a city! But when you close the windows it was very quiet and peaceful."

"The location and view are perfection. Close to very nice restaurants and subway station as well as walking distance to Jardin des Plantes and Notre Dame. Everything was clean and plenty of food/condiments/coffee/tea to get us through. Caroline is a wonderful host and check-in an out was very smooth as well as all the communication prior and during our stay. Parking at the appartment is very limited, but at Pont Marie is a very affordable parking garage 8 minutes walk from the appartment. They offer week and weekend passes."

"The stairs. We're not the youngest and climbing up to the third floor was a challenge after walking through Paris all day."

"The location is first class - a panoramic and expansive view over the River Seine and Paris. The flat itself is absolutely charming and very thoughtfully decorated. Caroline obviously cares about details and everything was perfect: everything we needed in the kitchen; luxurious bath towels and products in the bathroom; etc. A comprehensive list of useful information was made available in English and French. Caroline showed flexibility and understanding when I made requests. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable time and our stay has made us look forward to returning to Paris ASAP!"

"Caroline was super nice and helpful. The apartment is right in the heart of the city, but surprisingly quiet. The views from the window are picture perfect. The flat is equipped with all the necessary amenities and appliances that you might need during your stay. Highly recommended."

"Location, location, location. Very central to all the major Paris attractions, either within walking distance or by nearby Metro. Very scenic and charming. The view of the Seine and Eiffel Tower from the window is amazing. Kitchen amenities were great. Sofa bed has a very comfortable mattress, not typical of sofa beds. WiFi was reliable. Apartment was very clean, warm and homey, a modern dwelling within the charm of an older building."

"Although not a problem for me personally, guests should consider if they have the stamina to climb the 80+ steps along a circular staircase that leads to the apartment. It could be a challenge for older guests. Also, we managed to share the one toilet among the seven of us without a problem but that could be a challenge as well."

"Caroline's apartment is absolutely stunning. I don't know if there is a more perfect location in Paris. You look out the window of this beautiful apartment and the river Seine is right there with the Eiffel Tower in the distance. We loved the location on the Île de la Cité. It was truly perfect and within walking distance of so much in Paris. There were several little stores nearby to pick up things as needed if you wanted to cook in Caroline's lovely kitchen. (We picked up croissants every morning.) The shower in the apartment is modern and awesome, tall enough for my very tall son. Most importantly, Caroline is the most warm and thoughtful host. She has literally thought of everything with her home and we loved our stay there."
